Yamaha C2x on ebay..

I couldn't care a rat's YKW about brands.

These Yamaha products are simply so good that they deserve to be recognised for the overachievers that they are. :yes:
I simply like what's good.I'll also stick my neck out and purchase a product if I've heard enough good buzz from those with no vested interests to serve(kind rules out magazine reviews now doesn't it? :D ).
One of the things I like about AK is the number of unknown products which get a rave review and no-one replies with a disparaging remark to the effect of;
"It couldn't sound as good as my Sinn Londek/Lark Mevinson/Fonus Sabers,I haven't heard of it so it can't be good" :nono:
Y B-2,I really couldn't help that guy with the PX-3 that much.I really think that it's not a good turntable to be doing a restore on.Simply too complicated and full of unobtanium parts.I still thank my lucky stars that my two arrived intact and working. :thmbsp:

If he is lucky the electronics is ok, then it is only visual and mechanic stuff he has to fix. And even if the TT doesn’t stand as original. If it plays, it is one hek of a TT.
