Yamaha CA-1010 amp power up/voltage issues

Bummer about the cap . Was it a Nichicon KG ? I've done it once as well..Costly lessons..:biggrin:
 
No. These were Elnas that I was trying out. Not much of a loss. The Nichicons or equivalent will be ordered once I go through the rest of the amp.
