The CA-2010 is in great playing condition. I hear it has a good pre. I might lie low and enjoy the new 1986 m-60. Then maybe look for yamaha’s best preamp. Why, just because, vintage yamaha!

CA-2010

For the most part, I am not a Yamaha fan except for the CA-1000, CA-1010, CA-2010 and CA-3010.

Having worked on all the CA stuff and many of the M and C stuff, I much more prefer the CA stuff. I hate the M and C stuff. I will work on almost anything except the M stuff and would not offer to fix the C stuff.

I'd like to see one of those..:D Japan only model?

Opps, no CA-3010, Messed up the model numbers.
Been a while since I’ve seen them.
Vintage stuff is getting scarce these days.

Good thing I made a hoard to work on and play with when I get time.

So, you still liking the M80s?
Got a basket case here.

Currently playing with an M-80/C-70 with a Cambridgeaudio Azur 640C V2 and NS-1000's

My CA-1010 is stashed in the Vegas house.
Got a CA-1000 here on, what? Third birthday waiting for a restore.

I’ve lost track of what’s in the stash piles.

I keep clearing out piles but never get to the walls. I do know where that #*%&@ M80 is though. I think that one is on its third birthday too.

I recently pick up a CA-2010 The volume control is "scratchy". Got out the Deoxit and took the cover off. The volume pot looks sealed. Is this accessible for deoxit?
