If the bidding ended up too high maybe there will be a bail and relist. Might think about sending an email regarding with an offer just in case. That did work for me once. Got my semi-rare C8s preamp with power supply that way.

Yes.....I've done that successfully, as well. As I am one of the two bidders with actual feedback, makes me wonder if it will work out.

The arm has a few scratches but it looks like a nice table, really nice table.

But selling it after only 14 days, that guy must be really disappointed or just trying to make some money.

Yes....the arm does have some problems cosmetically. Anodizing is starting to flake off. But, is one of the TOTL Yamaha TTs and the only one on which the arm can be changed. Did not meet reserve. Wonder if I will hear back from him. He has not answered any of my questions except as additions to his listing.

I agree - once into that $$ amount buyers have a lot of choice of very nice new TTs or slightly used ones. I think they go for half as much today in Japan (100,000 yen?).

So the 'L' has the auto-lift at the end of play and the other one doesn't? Too bad that one for 20K yen is gone. I might have gone for it. Would work great with an SME 309.
