Yamaha R-900 REC issue

Hi guys

Wanted to share with you all the following issue I have with my Yamaha R-900. When I hooked a Sony TC-U70 and record some songs, at the moment to play them back, the right channel it sounds terrible and low. I thought it was the deck but tried with a Nakamichi RX202 and the same result, both of them were working good with other amp.
Does anybody have an idea or knows what the issue may be?

Welcome to AK.. Prime suspect would be a dirty REC out switch.

Thanks, just a little more info from my side. I switched the decks to an Onkyo amp and I have the same issue in both decks. it seems that the input right channel was damaged by the Yamaha amp.
