Yamaha Remote Problem

The film connector on the far left of the circled connection in my Yamaha CX-800 connector isn't making a good connection. This is the connection that the Power, Mute, and Preset Up/Down buttons are connected to. Any ideas on repair?

Greetings;
I magnified the pic
(4 solder joints top right looks burned or cold??) Consider size of battery to scale the won't be easy and requires a gentle fast solder touch up. Assuming you checked continuity and if okay then another issue.

Those 4 points are battery connection and an electrolytic filter cap. The rest of the remote works fine - it's just the buttons connected to the left connection on the ribbon that aren't registering. I edited the pic to highlight the connection I'm talking about.

You could try some electric conductive glue, I had success with adhering the contacts in a bluetooth speaker battery replacement recently, found it on ebay.

First.. try cleaning the contacts with a little IPA and a paper towel .

The buttons seem to work fine *if* I push on the circled connection in the picture. Doesn't seem to be a contact problem.

Does anyone have any experience doing this? Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Mike
