yearly battle fitness test

My bro made sgt then retired shortly after. He put in his 20 yrs and got out.

Sgt is good, I know guys that put in 20 yrs and never made it farther than Corporal.

Man, that is good doing that fitness test and your 44!! Keep fit and going to the gym and lifting weights!

Section Commander of a 108 man section with one 2 I/C (same rank that I was just previously Master Corporal), currently 40 on parade...

A brand new Platoon, just a year old, SOP's aren't writtin yet!

BTW, this test for some reason was downgraded some years back.

The old test I was accustomed to was 10 miles, 2 consecutive days, ruck/webbing/helmet/rifle/gasmask on the first day, no ruck the second day...... and it used to be a breeze for me!! man I'm getting old! LOL!!!!

Hey Bolly - it could be worse. I know a lot of guys who got a desk in 101 Col By to go along with the extra stripe!
