You Get The Last Word!

Circumstances kept me hidden in the brush until nightfall as I overheard the
guards tell of the Rubber Queen sailing downriver to have my head.

Deliverance

“To this day I can't get aroused until I see a pair of rubber dice hanging from the mirror” -Johnny Carson

TV show: The Johnny Carson Show

(I think I just lowered the general standard of this thread by several notches... :D)

People of a very blue, small stature appeared on the bank of the chocolate river, singing a most peculiar song.

Book: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

Hi Tarl!
You forgot to add a Book, Movie, or TV Show that relates to Sub's sentence. Always post your entry about a book or movie, etc., from the previous post, not your own.

Class, if in doubt, refer back to the first page for instructions.
OK?

Rome

Rome, your students are all off course here. It was the movie, I cant read.

Songs, music and drums echoed through the castle as the Rubber Queen returned without my head and I slipped quietly into her sister's quarters.

Movie: Woodstock

Yea HJ!
I think I may need to call a special meeting before continuing.
It is pretty simple, but somewhere it got a bit complicated for some.

Deliverance is a pretty good movie.

Rome

Quarters, Nickels, Dimes, & Pennies were seen rolling in all directions as the little old lady dropped her glass jar.

Movie: Young Frankenstein

Side Note:
You see, I used this movie in relation to HJ's sentence (castle) as the linking word.
Ok, let's continue.

So the literary work has to refer to the previous poster's sentence, not the one I am creating?

Jars of fine wine and gold lined the windows of the Rubber Queen's bedroom as her sister led me to the secret room.

Movie: Raising Arizona

Ok people, one more time. Here is the Post 134 on page nine that I changed the format of how we would continue with this thread. I think it is pretty self explanatory, but like I said, somewhere a few fell off the wagon, in a good way.

Great Job People!

Thanks for making this thread a fun one. Now as I said, if the thread did well I would throw in a changeup to make it more interesting.

From this point on until further notice, what we will experiment with is along with your sentence, also take a look at the previous sentence, then post a TV show, movie, or book that relates to that sentence. If you can't come up with one, proceed with the usual routine.

This is amdended a bit for clarity.

Example: Previous Post (by someone else)
Staples is a nice place to buy supplies for your office.

Your post (The New Post by You)
Office rules are to be adhered to daily.

Your movie choice as it relates to the post Previous
Movie: The Office

Let's keep it clean in here as before & please do not use any porn movie or books.

Example: Previous Post
As we paddled towards the shore of the island, a storm began to form rapidly.

Movie: Rhonda does Rhode Island.
Do Not Use!

Sooooo... the sentence has to begin with the last word from the previous post AND your selection, i.e. Movie, Book, TV must relate to the previous post as well????

I was doing good just to find a suitable quote!

Room & Board was a bit expensive for the accommodations the particular inn were offering.
