Three pairs of Kicker 6.5 outdoor speakers, a set of Polk Audio Atrium 45s and a passive SW. It's all Powered by a HK520 AVR and a Rotel 6 channel amp. I have two patios and one covered porch and can go anywhere and hear the same music we have playing inside. The SW is in a foundation corner wall and really adds a lot for the $.
 
Outdoor for me means going out to the balcony hanging outside of my living room. Therefore the outdoor system is the same as the indoor system, just turned up a bit.

Not trying to entertain the whole whole neighborhood but it fills the yard with good, clean sound at more than reasonable levels.
 
Got a ice chest with 5.25 Skar speakers, a TPA3116 bluetooth amp, a 12 volt rechargeable battery. I got spanked by the hotel manager (a Lady) said the music was too loud at the beach hotel!! I didn't even have it past 1/3 total.
 
I have a Telefunken Studio 1, or, a Grundig Party Center 2000 as primary outdoor or tailgate entertainment...

I also have a Fisher PH D8000 that I bought new back in 1990, it resides mostly in the garage...

The Altec IMT810 units look pretty interesting...

Kickers powered by a Kenwood KA-4006 attached to the living rm system. these older Kennys were designed to be daisy chained for quad setups so the volume control etc are still inline unlike a standard pre outs/main ins setup.

If familiar with Kicker you know their reputation for taking it, and these deliver really cranking when needed.

This years version is an 80's or 90's Technics SA GX100 receiver, Technics SL-5300 TT, a Luxman single CD player who's model # escapes me at the moment, Rotel cassette player, all running through a pair of Paradigm 5 SE speakers set up on a pair of stands I made out of some leftover wood I had kicking around. When not in use the speakers get a pair of garbage cans put over them to keep the weather off of them. All the electronics are tucked away safely out of the elements in my shop. I'm hoping one day soon I can sit outside and listen to them again but as of late it's been scorching hot here (yesterday 112F by 1 PM) so all my listening has been in my much cooler shop main system.

Stay cool man!
I talked to my mom on Sunday and was shocked when she told me that the forecast for Monday in Seattle was 110°f!!! Not something that I ever expected to see happening in the PNW. That is one thing in Az where it is so dry, but with the level of humidity there in BC/WA that must feel insanely hot.

I have a couple outdoor Insignia speakers out on the patio and a couple of Pinnacle PN5+ speakers in the sunroom. They are connected to a Sony receiver that allows me to just run the outdoor speakers or both sets. I have an Airport Express I use to send it audio from my phone.
