Last year I got a pair of these tweeters in fantastic condition. The price was probably nearly what you would pay for a pair of NS1000ms complete. The seller even included the retaining screws which was a nice touch. Last year I gave a faulty one to a friend that used to rewind large industrial speakers and we drew a blank at finding a flat wire (that is wound on the thinnest flat side) to do the job.

Been thinking about using a NS690 tweet VC as a replacement for the NS1000 tweet VC..:scratch2: I don't have nothing to loose..
