Zenith console

[EVBoy]

Is it tube?

[gadget73]

I'm getting solid state vibes based on that record changer.

How many watts draw is on the data on the back? That will quickly let you know.

All I have is the estate sale photo.

If you dump the photo into Google photo search, there are like a gozillian of these that pop up.
Followed a link to one on Ebay, and in a picture of the back I could just make out "MODEL X930"
In RadioMuseum, that model appears to be all transistor.

Very cool pop-open speaker louvers though.

Is it tube?

Does it take 30 secs to a minute for the radio to play? If so it is a tube amp... a solid state amp will start playing right away.

Looks like a later 60's Allegro console and those were solid state but we need more to know for sure.
