Zenith SFD2560 - Tuner Chasis 9D24 - Identify Mouse Damage

So, I picked up this great Zenith SFD2560 that still had the manual, all the paper on the turntable. The thing looked to be in great shape. It was stored carelessly and had a little damage visible externally, but upon bringing it home and opening it up, I realized this place had been a mouse hotel at some point. Thankfully, the rodents were no longer present and there were no remains apart from little nests and nastiness, but it all looks like I can deal with it.
I am getting to the point of recapping, the amp is immaculate. The tuner is clearly where the mice liked to hang out. I have been going over the schematic, but something is off and I think it is related to some mice snacking. I am excerpting from the schematic, a labeled photo I took, a close-up photo of the damage in the hopes that perhaps someone could help me decipher what I am looking at. My areas of concern are identifying L1 (I have ordered a replacement part already FM Antenna Coil) and determining if a mouse actually ate all the way through C5 (a ceramic disc) or if I am mixing both of these up. Is my guess right? I am waiting on some supplies to arrive so I can begin chipping away at this. If my guess is right I am going to have to start trying to find a 7.5 mmfd. ceramic cap for this thing.

The labeled data is:
L1: FM Antenna Coil,
C6: 56, N750, 10%
C8: 220, 10%
L3: AM Antenna Coil
C5: 7.5 mmfd.

Looks like what you have marked as "remains of C5" is a coil. Possible yours is slightly different than the schematic, but that just doesn't look like it would have ever been part of a cap to me.

So confusing. I guess if "remains of C5" is a coil then that would somehow make what I have listed as "Chewed L1" a 7.5 mmfd. disc capacitor? Which is confusing as heck because it looks more tubular than disc.

The tubular thing is probably a small value capacitor. They did exist in "dogbone" construction, especially for the really little values. Guessing that is C5, and the coil is L1. Looks like it runs from the antenna terminal to the terminal strip where the coil is. Can't tell where the coil went, but if it is L1, it should go to ground somewhere on that terminal strip.

Excellent! That is super helpful. I will test it out with the multimeter and see if the thing still has any capacitance and I won't have to switch it out.

Not too bad, mouse damage I mean.

Several years ago, I bought an amp and tuner branded Knight. The tuner was so rusted and smelly that it became a "parts unit". The chassis was, ahem, disgusting! Saved the sockets and the PCB board but that’s all...
