Zenith X930 Turntable Running Slow

Hello. New here. Recently acquired a Zenith X930 vintage stereo console, which seems to be c. 1967 based on internet research. Turntable runs about 6% slow. Wondering if anyone can point me towards a resource for DYI fix, or someone relatively near western MA who might make a house call. It was a real pain getting this thing in the house, and would rather not have to take it back out....

The turntable motor needs to be taken apart, cleaned and re oiled. While you have the motor off you should replace the motor
isolation grommets as well.

If there is any noise, rumble while the turntable is spinning you will need a new idler wheel. Contact thevoiceofmusic.com.

Thanks so much for the information. (And yes, there is a rumble) Doing a little poking around, this is probably a bit beyond my DIY abilities.... I'll see if there is anyone near me that might make a "house call" but I am not optimistic. In the meantime, as I play records, it seems to have gained some speed.

It really isn't very complicated or hard. I believe there are some youtube videos on how to. That is a voice of music made turntable with a custom Zenith tonearm. Look for videos on similar record changers.
