I've a (lucky) friend who's just acquired a near mint condition SU-V7X. What he's now seeking is a user manual. He has the service manual. Any ideas please?

Hi, I have two mint SU-V7X's and I do have a manual. Would you like me to send a scan or are you looking for an original? Thanks
Hello, I’d love to get your DCM speakers… I’ll be driving (moving) from Idaho to New York the first week of May and if you still have them then, I can pick them up. However, the logistics of the 4-day drive are still pretty fuzzy and I can’t ask you to hold them for me. I’ll check back with you closer to my dreaded drive if it’s ok with you

Hi, Chris I have owned from brand new a Peerless SCL-1 MC Step-Up Transformer. I use it for my Linn 12 with a Kandid cartridge into a highly modified Dynaco Pas 3.
It might just be the finest SUT out there.
Fun fact: My Sansui 7070's signal meter is inverted. That means that the closer that meter is to 0 the stronger the signal

I consider it to be more of a tower proximity meter than strength meter
Hello, I have a Zenith wave-magnet trans-oceanic radio. Would you know if anyone in the NH area who would be interested in this for repair or parts? We did try to turn it on but not sure if we actually know how. Appreciate any help with this.
buenos dias soy Jose Luis , he leído que usted es distribuidor de sanken ....
Estoy intentando localizar unos transistores de calidad.

If you don’t have a grounding wire, do something to make one. You should have a ground between the receiver and the turntable. Sorry, I’m a bit sporadic. I’m driving at the moment hehe.
Something like that. It’s probably overkill. But I like the fact that it has solid state versus switches which can get dirty and noisy.
2/2 update ….The Denon has the ability to turn off the equalizer. It’s in the instruction manual, but I don’t know where the SWITCH is as I don’t have physical access to a turntable like that. You might have to remove the platter and poke around a lot to find it. But in any case, that seems to be the issue, as by default, it is turned on.

That’s crazy thanks! So it’s a separate switch from the pre amp switch on the Denon? I do know where that is it’s under the platter. But I wasn’t sure if you can disengage the eq separately from the pre.
1/2 update - Look in the manual for the Denon, there is an equalizer switch that you need to turn off, and then you can use it with the phone input on your Mac 1700. I had a look at the schematic, you would have to modify the Mac by removing two resistors. I don’t recommend that actually.
The 1700 has an old style phono input so I don’t think it’ll work with the Denon preamp in line. I suppose you could modify the 1700, but don’t you have another input besides aux? Perhaps tape? I will look at the schematic tonight. Newer , integrated amps and preamps just have line inputs, so it isn’t really a problem these days. Worst case scenario you could use a line switch.
Try plugging your Denon directly into AUX because it apparently does have a built in preamp according to Denon product page.

Ok ..... boom. I turned on the pre amp inside the Denon 300f and then I plugged it into the aux and it sounds great. Very clear and clean. So that's good!

This tells me a couple things. 1. I don't need a transformer. 2. The problem lies with my phono inputs on my Mac1700. In LA the phono section worked great.

Do you think it could be a grounding issue?
I am in Towson, Maryland. Unfortunately I do not drive so my ability is limited to the immediate Towson area. Here are pictures of some of my children. LOL!
