Hi, Steve. I am finally thinking about selling my Snell Type A IIs. Do you have any suggestions as to price I should ask and expect? Mine have had the original woofers replaced with replacements from the Snell factory (rubber surrounds now). Thanks for any guidance you can offer.

$3,500? Nice! I was really hoping for $1,000 since it cost me ~$550 for the factory woofer replacements. That nets me only $225 per speaker.

I recently upgraded my active x-over LPF to a PRV DSP 2.4X for biamping <100hz. 4 separate outputs & many options - slope, phase, freq, delay, gain, PEQ. I set the initial setup close to the old x-over, then adjusted. Room corrections w/PEQ are impressive! More defined bass, better coherency, cleaner upper bass & lower mids. Wish I'd done this sooner.

I would like to take these, may i return them (immediately) if they dont test well on an Amplitrex CT1000? Several of my recent old stock purchases have not tested well, and this is a lot of money to me. I would eat the shipping charges. Thanks! bob

If you still want original-like PL-630 dampers, I can hook you up for less than ebay... they charge 13% + paypal 3% and shipping costs ~$6 You're in MD, so if you come get them in Herndon, VA, you can have them for $40

Thanks for responding. I lived in Sebastopol from 1990-1995. I'm sure it's changed a lot. I have the DMC-12 with phono input. It works great, and sounds fantastic. I play mostly vinyl. By the way, there are 3 Spectral dealers in the US,

I have two
jbl LSR6328P

They have distorted sound and one has a bad tweeter. I would be grateful with any schematics and/or if you fixed some of these to give me some advice/help/ideas.
Are they still worth to keep them ?
