My first high-end audio system

Before my recent McIntosh/Klipsch system, my first real audio components comprised mainly of Carver gear from the early '80s on through the '90s. They consisted of:
*Carver M-400t Magnetic Field power amps (two, driving DIY subwoofer)
*Carver TFM-35x power amp (driving pair of Magnepan MGLR1s)
*Carver C-4000 Sonic Holography preamp
*Carver TX-11 FM stereo tuner
*Carver SD/A-450 single-bit CD player
*Nakamichi DR-2 three-head cassette deck
*dbx Professional 234 active crossover (for DIY subwoofer)
*Monster Power HTS5000 line conditioner
*Sony SLV-575UC Stereo VHS recorder (for the JVC 20" mono color TV).
