My first high-end loudspeakers

My first true audiophile grade loudspeakers were a pair of Magnepan MGLR1 2-way planar loudspeakers, using Kimber Kable 8TC 9 AWG 10' speaker cables. Behind the right Maggie is my DIY subwoofer, consisting of two 8" Rockford Fosgate subwoofer drivers (each powered by the two Carver M-400t amps bridged into 500 watts mono). Later the two 8" subs were replaced by a 15" dual voice coil Dayton DVC Series subwoofer. The cabinet was a 3 cubic foot sealed enclosure with the sub(s) facing downward. MIT Terminator 2 10' speaker cables were used for the subwoofer.
