Any cat lovers here?

@YY1 All good cats!
And how awesome that Skippy has integrated so well.

My Alpha Lucky boy used to get groomed by my delicate China Girl, with her tiny paws around his neck.
Soon after Luck crossed that bridge, China followed.
What a crew I used to have.
Grateful for the memories, but bittersweet indeed.

Low lonng moan, like Black cats do, wowww wowwwww wo.

Last night my wife had most of "her" cats on the loveseat and I had most of "mine" on the couch.

She had one orange tabby, one black cat and one tuxedo.

I had three gray tabby cats!

We have:

1 gray/dark gray tabby (no black)

3 gray tabby cats with white (and black stripes)

1 brown tabby

1 torbie

Oddly, the two that look most similar at first glance, are Charlotte and Skippy.
Gotta look close to see if there's a missing arm.

At night, the two most similar are Mango (orange tabby) and Willow (gray/gray tabby).
They look nearly identical in low light.

Let me tell you something about confusion... how about a cat room full of brown tabbies?!? It's the meow alone that separates them for me.
Thats a crazy thing, yea — each cat has a different voice.
And personalities.

With Rowan, she uses her tail for most of her expresion, but she has become way more vocal as time has passed— When she meows, I notice and respond.

Voice is everything, Just ask Wolfman Jack.
Brings back memories of KDAY Lol.

Momma-cat had a rather stressful day after making her way out of the pen, we got distracted and didn't latch the top down so she jumped out and went exploring eventually making her way into my apartment. She went for the one window and jumped up landing on Mattie and Fatso... both reacted in the moment and she got beat up before making her way down to the basement where she stayed for the afternoon. Thankfully her kids figured out how to eat solid foods and I eventually got her out of the hiding spot to reunite her with them, so glad to see mom.

She's a bit high-strung and not very trusting right now not to mention stressed out so we're doing what we can to keep things low-key. Three boys and one calico girl with just the colors on her ears and tail.

About Horseflies…

Seems I have had a few of them inside the house for the past couple days.
Now if Lucky Boy were still around they would have been eliminated, he would even jump up and catch them- fast cat he was.
Of course the gross part is he would eat them, blech.

Rowan shows interest, but catching them is left to me, the suction hose on the vacuum gets em every time.

I can say they are all gone for now.
