Hey! I had those speakers! They could be either JBL L-55 Lancers or L-65 Jubals. I had the L-55's

Definitely love cats but don't let them near a running TT. My inner cringe was going when it started pawing at the arm.

Not sure I'd be as pleased if it were my TT and record.
At one point 6 here. Two died within the last year. Down to 3. + 2 fosters from local shelter.
They'll be gone in the next 2 weeks.

My cat is the reason that I use the dustcover when playing records on my Rega with an Ortofon Quintet Blue ! LOL. She cannot ruin my GE VR 1000's with cast iron cantilevers. That is probably why she does not bother with those turntables.

Cats are the funniest animals in the world. Dogs are pretty close but cats have so many different things they do that are hilarious.

Has anybody else seen the video of a cat getting something out of a jar on a counter and he gets it out and bats it over to the edge of the counter and pushes it off? Then, the camera pans down and there are two dogs who scramble to be the one to get what turns out to be a dog treat as it hits the floor and one of them gets it. Then they pan back up and the cat is getting another treat out of the jar and repeats watching the two dogs and the treat.

So funny!

My handle reflects my love of cats.
I found the OP's video excruciating to watch - although it's a nice cat, I knew it was going to end in disaster.
I've always been careful to train my cats to keep away from my turntables.
