Any cat lovers here?

Image223.jpeg yes. They were and are all different. There was fuzzy and wuzzy when I was a kid. When Carol and I got to gather there was Audiche, then Katy and Klawdette, then Kelly and Kyra with TJ the only male, now that Carol is gone there is just me and Katrina. She has no personality at all, Thats why she was named for the Hurricane. Klawdette was named because until she had her claws removed she would climb my clothes every night when I came home from work to give me a kiss. I would yell when are we going to get this kid klawed? Thus her name became Klawed-yet. Klawdette.

While we're on the subject of cats...

The difference between dogs and cats:

Dog - picks up the phone when you call

Cat - lets the call go to voicemail, and then never calls back

EDIT: PS - I love cats. Here's a pic of the late, great Damien, wrapped up in a blanket my wife knitted for him. Sorely missed.

This is Kelton who was a 12 week old rescue cat, he walks around the house yowling and wailing when my wife leaves or goes behind closed doors. He also makes a great arm rest when listening or watching TV. He does not attack terrorists though.

Cat respecter?? Sure. One of nature's most fantastic killing machines.

Cat lover?? Not so much. They wreak havoc on native populations, generally do as they please, and are the great "squatters" of the animal kingdom.

Currently dealing with a serious feral cat population in my backwards hometown. Local elderly guy feeds them great gobs of food, they reproduce, you know the drill.

I've hauled 5 off this year alone, catching them humanely and taking to the shelters. Still have the bastards under my mother in law house, and find them all over my cars, under the porch.

I'm a cat lover but I'm with you on that. They belong inside.

He also likes to cuddle (and sleep) with his plush toy!

Extremely cute... And your feline friend brings up memories: My friend Schorsch had a similar looking cat named Max. Max also liked to cuddle. But what really made him special was his curiosity regarding food - he would try anything, even peperoni. I also fondly remember his siter Lulu, even though she often sank her claws into my (left) knee, when she would lie on my (left) thigh and let me stroke her back, often enough sticking her tail up and tickling my nose with it.

Greetings from Munich!

Sounds about right ... everything you mentioned. Including the tail up my nose & sanking his claws into my chest (and shoulders) :) But only because he enjoys all the attention & affection, not because he was angry or upset.

He had a very difficult & violent history, with his former owners. Then ran away at some point (they let him go?), only to get hit by a car. And then one lady took him in and provided him with everything he needed at the time. But unfortunately, she already owned couple of dogs and wasn't in the position to permanently adopt him. Fortunately, however she helped spread the word around the neighborhood, and so eventually he moved in with us!
