This little firecracker put Mattie in her place.

She put Mattie in her place, never heard a little kitten growl like her.

Rowan has a nasty growl too, she means business, I think she has some street smarts, and a few scraps under her belt, without front claws she has really learned to bite hard, all the while batting with her front nubs.
**Hope that little one warms up a bit, I feel for Mattie cat, after all she is the queen!
My dearest Gypsy always got picked on, she knew she was lowest on the pecking order, out of 5.
Once she was the only one left, I always told her she finally got to be THE Queen, and I treated her like it.

Mattie does have a bit of an attitude with other cats and always has to make the first hiss, the little one wasn't about to back down and let Mattie know she wasn't taking any sh.. from her. Mattie hissed back and... it wasn't gonna end well. Otherwise the kitten is really good with the charm and loves attention... and catnip, yeah this one really gets into that.

I am so glad I am able to mix her Gabapentin in with her wet food, and she eats it, without issue.
She is zombied out right now, even being medicated the “trimmer” almost got bit last time.
It still takes 2 of us, to get the job done.
My dearest Lucky Boy used to scream like there was a murder going on, he sounded worse than a screaming child.
All the other cats knew, what was coming down the line.
2 rear paws are much easier than multiples of 4, but I would never approve of declawing for any reason.

Mattie Cat this afternoon enjoying the heat & humidity at the window. What a drama queen!
My 11 month old kittens, and they're big enough that's it's difficult to consider them as such, have not really taken to the wonders of sunlight. They must be defective.
Over the last few days Rain, the one that was most likely to avoid any attention, has really warmed up. She tends to spend more time with me looking for affection than Choco does.
I'm still seeing an increase in their agility too. They are still in the process of adjusting to their size, but their ability to jump on things is improving, much to my dismay. I know they're going to be able to get on just about anything they want soon. That just means I have to be much more careful about those things I value as to where I put them.
My couch seems to be the training ground. They're able to easily jump onto the arms now. Then I see both of them doing this thing where they will reach up, lock their front claws into the arm and pull themselves up.
Also, I think I mentioned this, but they also like it when I leave a sheet hanging over the front of the couch. They will then go underneath the couch and attack your hand when you poke at the sheet. This sort of interactive play is a new thing for Rain. You have to be careful of Rain, because she'll reach around the side or underneath the sheet and swat at you. I have a few battle scars as a result. Overall, however, she's not as bad as Choco. Choco is the one to fear. She's always looking for blood.
Speaking of my girls, I can hear them fighting in the background.

She behaved really well, was kind of crowded, while waiting for her nail trim, even a couple dogs poked their nose at her…
No hissing, and she barely made a peep on the way there, and it was like she knew she was headed home on the way back.
The gal was able to get a nice close trim, and looks like we are now on an 8 week schedule.
My good girl, upstairs asleep, after a long day…
