QQ sub for 2sd880 ?

Hello Forum.....I have searched the forum not much came up.

Can someone recommend a good sub....thanks. (I am leaning towards a mje15032.......the base voltage is only 5V though.......)

i think they're going to need to know what its going into before they can tell you if it'll be a problem or not. in the interests of getting your answer sooner you may wish to add that information

Actually not so much.

The specs for 2sd880 are here:

Click on:
2SD880 Equivalent Transistors - Cross-Reference Search text to take you to reasonable crosses, and there are many. Instead of the MJE15032, try the MJE15034 instead. It is on that list.

MJE15034 Si NPN 50 0 350 0 4 30 100 TO2203

2SD880 Si NPN 30 60 60 7 3 150 3 70 60 TO220

They cut and pasted badly, but the relevent specs are higher with the mje15034 and should work just fine. If this is in the audio path of one channel, the other channel should be changed to make sure there is audio symetry.
