Anyone seen "The Departed" it was recently released on DVD. Beside being a good movie, at the end there is a scene with alot of Mac gear shown. Then a close up of the MVP861 playing a CD. :thmbsp:

Ooopps a re-post :whip:

I got a special kick out of it, because I was able to see all the model numbers on my screen.

How about Mac gear on TV? Anyone ever notice the Mac gear in Grissom's office and apartment on CSI?

Worth a watch, though the violence is so pervasive and extreme that I would keep the kids away.

I'd agree with that. I just watched it last night, and it was chock-full of splatter. It was well, done, though. I really liked the film -- lots of good actors and good acting. The Alec Baldwin character just kept cracking me up...

I'd read this thread before watching it, and forgot about the McGear in the end. The it hit me: "Oooh, McIntosh..." It's really funny -- during a semi-climatic portion of a high-energy drama, the flash of McBlue on the screen thrilled me just as much as the gripping plot. :D We're an odd lot. :music:

Me too, I paused the picture & backed it up to read the model numbers. :music:

Wasn't there a nice Mac system featured in another Jack (Nicholson) movie called "As Good as it Gets"???

I Watched It Last Night Too Ivan!

For how good of a movie it is,the only scene I went
back to watch again, was with the sexy shrink and
the Mac gear and the Sennheiser headphones!
