Which deoxit?

I'm getting a lot of information about using deoxit to clean my switches and controls for my HK 730. I bought it in 1976 and it still looks and sounds great. There is some scratchiness in some of the knob and switches. Which deoxit do I use? I have never cleaned any electronics before, but I want to play my 730 with my Jbl L100s and my Ar XA manual turntable.

For metal-to-metal contacts, like switches. Buy Faderlube for your pots.

May be used where maximum lubrication is needed, but solvents are not desired. For example, where cleaning and lubrication is required or over-spray might adversely affect sensitive plastics. DeoxIT® utilizes a metered valve which sprays short bursts of 100% liquid.
My weapon of choice for scratchy pots and noisy switches. However I don't use the sprays rather...

OK... so I know which basic products to get, but - spray, brush, or needle? Seems like spray would have more of a cleaning effect and keep any contaminants from being picked up and left in the bottle (brush), but of course there's overspray. Seems like the needle would be ok as long as you have unhindered access. I don't yet know if that applies in my case.

I need to clean the pots in a Sansui G-8700DB.

I picked up some deoxit D5 spray for use on a source switch. Works perfect, but there is some residual cleaning up if your get too crazy and overuse. Nothing a few lint free cloths and some compressed air won't take care of.

When using the spray place some paper towels around and under the pot to catch whatever doesn't go into the pot. Less cleanup. A little shot is all you need. I have found the D5 does a really good job on pots and connectors.

Just picked up some DeOxit spray at a local store that now carries it, it's the first time I used the stuff, I like it!! I just went crazy cleaning all my contacts...I could not beleive the dirt it removed!
