This could easily be another thread :). God, where do I start. Tommy, The Man Who Fell To Earth, The Song Remains The Same, The Kids Are Alright, The Doors, the list goes on and on...

Cool Hand Luke- with Grant Green's "Down Here On The Ground"

Actually, anything by Lalo Schifrin or Ennio Morricone is worth a listen....

Dances with Wolves
The Civil War
Empire of the Sun
Little Shop of Horrors
Almost Famous

FM Soundtrack

"The soundtrack won the 1979 Grammy Award for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical."

And a few more... Although.. are they movies with soundtracks.. or are they soundtracks they made a movie for?

Woodstock
The Wall
Dazed and Confused
A Hard Days Night
Sargent Peppers.. Both the Beatles and the Bee Gees
This is Spinal Tap
Heavy Metal
Blues Brothers
The Graduate
West Side Story (No idea why I enjoy this one, but it's a classic)
