Isn't Segers' 'Roll Me Away' the closing credit song?

Beat me to it! Spent a lot on the LP, but worth it!

look for the science fiction soundtracks of bernard hermann

look for john barry stuff. one of my favorites is a haunting, sparse creation of eerie moods that barry did for a 60s english movie called The Whisperers. a real favorite of mine

Vanilla Sky

(This soundtrack got me hooked on Radiohead! Includes songs from Radiohead, Peter Gabriel, REM, Red House Painters, Paul McCartney, Monkees, Nancy Wilson, others...)

OHH WAIT!
I totally forgot:
The Original Roxy cast recording of "Rocky Horror Picture Show" (ode Records)
No other recording, not even the movie soundtrack comes close to this version. It simply kicks ass. Totally a must for any fan.

A few more I haven't seen listed yet:

Peter Gabriel's Passion (music for the Last Tempation of Christ)
Vyacheslav Ovchinnikov's War & Peace
Repo Man

(I'm not including musicals as I consider them a separate category)

How is it this thread got to 59 posts without a mention of -

"Daaaamn right"

I was playing this pre-recorded R2R on my Sony TC-252D when I was 12.
