Words fail!!!

That's what I've got last summer:

Technics%20SL-3200.JPG

:tears:
Technics SL-3200 belonged to a teenage girl! Apparently she couldn't afford Swarovski crystals so she did THAT!!!
I suspect she used Crazy glue or something like that because I couldn't remove even a single piece.
The saddest part that turntable works. What am I suppose to do with it? Anybody wants it?

It's all arty and s***. :D

Wonder how it sounds WRT a "stock" SL3200?

Randomized mass loading? Might help...

Regards,
Gordon.

Might help...if you're using it in a totally dark room. I can't force myself
to look at it!

you know

Most of the "customized" things bother me but for some strange reason...I like it.

:D

I must have finally snapped.....:screwy:

Over the years I had some very strange things. Polk Monitor 5 painted white (for some reason reminded me of cheap stall doors in a public bathroom), another pair of speakers with grill fabric you usually associate with 50 years old pillow, so on and so on.
Never had anything like that - have to admit. Should I try a chisel?

lol; what's not to like about that.

Maybe you could pour some asphalt seal coat over it and make it look more like granite. :D

If it's crazy glue acetone should remove those decorations. Oops and Goo Gone are worth a try too.

Dream TT for a geologist or metallurgist. I don't think it looks so bad, although I would never advocate doing it in the first place. I've seen worse gear - usually death by adhesive Nascar and sports team stickers...

If that was a Garrard 301 I might feel differently, but I kinda see how a girl would dig that.

I've heard of turntable rumble, but turntable rubble?!

Seriously, though, I kinda like it! Not bad for secondary (or tertiary) system.

I'd think this unique embellishment would actually have an anti-resonant effect. This thing should sound better than any other SL-3200 . . .
