Yamaha CR linup - Any one have a list?

Hi - I have a CR-2040 and wondering what models Yamaha had that came after it, larger or better? Anyone know of a time-line or list available? I checked Yamaha's site and the CR models were not listed in their historic section.

newbie interested in Yamaha CR receivers - where to start? what to be wary of?

Hi folks I'm new to vintage Yamaha equipment, other than my recapped NS-670 speakers, which I like very much. I'm currently driving them with Sansui AU-4900 and AU-555A amps, listening to a lot of 1950s-60s jazz, some 60s-80s rock and some classical orchestral, from vinyl and CD sources. I...

EV HR9040 Horns - New Speaker Day

I'm pretty excited about today's haul. I have some big Bag End S15B-D's that I've refinished and thought about using for a large, sensitive 2 channel 2-way setup. These came up locally, with W bins and a pair of reconed JBL 15"s and a pair of EV 15"s. The seller included some Dayton audio...

    Yamaha CR-1020

This was a storybook deal. This and a set of Magnapan speakers were given to me by my boss's secretary for helping her move. She was going to give it to Goodwill or just throw it away. Instead she let me have it and a pair of Magnapan MG-1's for free - albeit I had to help lift a couple of boxes.
