    Fisher 800-B AM Z3 and Z5 IF transformer capacitor values

    Howdy still working on my 800-B and believe I have some capacitor issues (silver mica disease?) in the IF transformers based on reading posts and other searches. I have not verified voltages V5,V6 and V7 yet and do not have good tubes to swap in for testing at the moment. I do not get a heart...

    Phono preamp suggestions, please

    I'm looking for a decent, but not break-the-bank-expensive preamp with a headphone jack. I'm running a Music Hall 2.2le through a Fisher 800-B. Thoughts and suggestions much appreciated.

    Does Fisher 800B have a main in hookup?

    Maybe a simple question, but I'm interested in using my Marantz 2270 as a preamp with a Fisher 800b's main amp section. From pics, it's not obvious how I should hook it up on the Fisher end. I've purchased the Fisher, but not yet received the unit. Any advice on the best way to go about this...

    My first Fisher

    Last weekend I bought my first Fisher, heck, my first tube amp: an 800B in custom cabinet with Empire 208 stacked atop. The Fisher is now at the shop for recapping, new rectifiers, antenna bracket, and anything else that might need addressing. Any information/advice from those-in-the-know here...
