    Marantz 2220B 'LOUD' popping noise!

    After about 20 minutes of use I got a LOUD popping noise. It sounds like if you were to drop a needle onto a record very violently and the volume is set to 11. I had to run over and shut it down. To be fair, it has NOT been restored but I cleaned the pots pretty good. Not sure what this could...
