    Good (usb?) Micro scope for inspecting styli?

    I have a ton of cartridges, all of which are second hand. The condition of the styli is up in the air and I have no clue which are good and which aren't. I would like to know and I have been reading up on how to check for wear. I would like to try doing it myself and since I also sell cartridges...

    Various Stylus Under A Microscope, DJ, etc.

    I used a AMScope at 3x and eyepiece WF15X with LED lighting overhead. Photos by my iPad 4 placing the lens to the eyepiece. I did not use the IPad zoom feature. Maybe I should have as well as additional points of reference/views. Two photos for each stylus- straight down and from the left side...
