    Disappointing hum with new PS-X7

    Just got a PS-X7 had it professionally serviced, aligned and tested with a Grado signature 3 cart and 8MZ stylus. Played about a side and a half LP and now hum has mysteriously appeared. All connections appear secure. What might cause this to develop over such a short period of time?
