Sansui Solid State Amplifiers and Low Freq. Oscillation
Hey all, I have a weird issue that's come up twice now, both Sansui solid state receivers, both the same kind of issue, low frequency oscillation. First - I have a Solid State 3500. STVs and heatsink compound Question
I am in the middle of rebuilding the power amp in my SX-1050 and I added some heatsink compound between the STV and the heatsinks for the drivers. I will do so on the main heatsink STVs as well. I have not seen it mentioned in any threads, though I think I have seen a few times it was done in...- merlynski

Restoring/Upgrading Crossover in a Fisher Video Tech Mark 20 STV-690
I opened the speaker and what i found is this per speaker box so double it for both speakers Capacitors: 3.3mfd 100v 4.7mfd 100v x2 1.5mfd 100v Resistors?: 1ΩK 5W 1.5Ωk 5W Is mfd the same as a μf? Theres some white rectangular boxes which i guess are the resistors. Should i buy anything...- matt.zepess
