♫ 23-March ♫ New England Winter/Spring FrankenFest 2019

I'm going to try to make it. If so , as with the past few fest, I'll be traveling light . I'll see about bringing an interesting system for folks to demo but I've attempted to do that for the past few fest and I've opted out every time.

I have never been to a Frankenfest so pardon my ignorance of the subject....Do we need to sign up or anything or can we just "show up"? How about selling equipment .. do we have rent a space? Thanks, Joe.

I can't get into "Bartertown" and couldn't even figure out how to subscribe to do so.

Seems to me that a message on how to do it would be more useful than "You don't have permission to view this page or perform this action."

The subscribe button is on the main page. Click, donate 25.00, you're in, done.

Guess you didn't see from the post above yours nor the tag added below my avatar that I already did it. I still say the default message of "you don't have permission...." should be instead something to encourage joining and a link to where to do it.

I did. I guess I was wondering if you have to go through your account settings as Peter suggested, or just click on the subscribe button. Either way, now you have access to all the goodies being sold.

I did use the link within my user profile. I'm not a website designer, but the "Subscribe" button on the main page isn't very descriptive as to what it means. I'd joined quite some time ago and never noticed it. I think it should be "front & center" with info on this being a non-profit org that needs user support in the form of a $25 yearly donation.

Dmitry, I can bring a rudimentary tube tester...not high end, have to turn one switch with pliers, but it'll tell good,
weak or shorted easy enough...sort of like Buglegirl's Century unit she has for sale. But to measure the tubes
to a "number," my little girl won't do that, or at least give you a number that is meaningful elsewhere...

Just 3-1/2 weeks away.

Does anybody here live in close enough proximity to Brooklyn that is planning to come to the fest? Tom B has my beloved Pioneer receiver and I’m hoping someone can shuttle it to the fest. Figured it’s worth a try.

Ditto, I may have someone in Queens interested in my Denon DP-60L turntable.

Is anyone coming to the fest from down near Queens or NYC? I have a buyer for my A25s, but he can't make it.
