Might I suggest the use of quotation marks when searching? The second link (thered1's page) is the first hit on Google for this string: Fisher "President X"

Edit: If that has everything that perchdogs has, that would be the find of the year!!! If I still lived in So. Cal., I'd be all over that. I know I won't make many friends here for saying this, but, I'd probably gut it for the 800C, Garrard TT, and Ampex RTR. Sorry guys, I know it would be a shame to gut it, but I'm just being honest. I do not like consoles, but love what they have to offer. I would hope that someone who can appreciate it for what it is gets it and it wouldn't have to be torn apart.

No worries, as I recall, that year is a hybrid and would not contain an 800C. It kills me that this thing is available for 75 bucks and at least a couple thousand miles away!

This is the model I gave my folks back in the about '69. It was an employee turn in and in mint condition. Only drawback was the folks lived on the 6th floor of a building with NO elevator and the stair landings to make turns were VERY small. I think after finally getting it up there the guy who helped and I both walked in a funny way for about a week. They loved it. When they sold the building some years later, the movers did not want to load it so they left it for the new owners.

If The Red1's spread sheet is correct, I have no reason to believe that is not the case I would pass. Pretty sure 1964 was the last year with all tube chassis. Every thing is different on the 65 model, TT is a Daul 1009, Ampex RTR different model #'s and chassis are unknown to me and hybrid.
These have been popping up quite frequently lately. If it were me, I would wait in the bushes for a more desireable one to come along and snag it.
They are hard to move for 2 adults, very heavy and take up alot of room. Although they do say the early Fisher SS stuff is pretty nice...

Hybrids started in '64 on the higher models.

Actually I just did as well, guessing my model 960 is last of the big tube dogs...
About a year ago a 1965 Pres came up not to far away from here. I was heart broken because I wanted tube and found that was not the case with that unit, did not realize the same case with the 64's.
