2252B Chassis Cover

If I have a chassis cover w/o side vents, the WC-122 having side vents doesn't matter. The air comes in the bottom, rises past the sink then goes out the top. No air from the side to cause problems. Must be why the covers for the Bs didn't have side vents.

So after all that, Goodwill of D.C. either lost or shipped to someone else, or something, the 2238B with the WC-122 case I paid for. Bummer, man.
 
Halfway though building a case. Side panels are cut and I'm about to drill the screw holes and deciding whether to do the side cutout since my metal chassis case doesn't have side vents. The 2238B chassis cover fits fine though it is actually a bit deeper (1/4") and there's a little overhang in back. Screw holes are in all the right places though.

Side panels are going to be 3/4" vs full 1" and the top is going to be 1/2" so I have to figure out how to make that look good.

Anyone have the dimension of the cut in the top panel? Guess I could just get close to the louvers on the chassis cover.
 
Chris, thanks. I cut everything yesterday and put it on to make sure it was fitting before doing the final cuts and finishing. My 2252B looks like one of the "Little Rascals" wardrobe-wise right now. Will put up a photo once I'm done.
