If anyone has a schematic for a 2a3 amp that they have built and it sounds great please let me know, I've been looking to build a nice one of these and have searched the web but didn't find much. Thank you.

Thanks guys, I'm checking the links you posted. I am trying to go pretty simple on a 2A3 amp then I may modify later, are these amps the favorite amps that you guys have? For tube stereos I just have a Maggie 8601 and a home made one (both single ended) I enjoy both of them and hope a good 2A3 circuit will be a noticeable improvement.

"Noticeable improvement" is hard to validate. It may sound different but you will have to judge whether it is an improvement over what you have.

My 2A3 amp is the only single ended system I have set up (in a small summer cottage) and it is probably my favorite system of the 6 systems I have in operation. It may also be a favorite due to novelty...and I don't get to listen to it that often. It is also the only system I have that is augmented with a subwoofer which also skews things.

I just built a single ended 6V6 system for a friend. Probably not that dissimilar to your Maggies. While I do like the amp a lot, I won't be all that sad to see it disappear later today, whereas if one of my kids took the 2A3 amp, I would definitely build another.

I built one of these http://diyaudioprojects.com/Schematics/2A3-Loftin-White-Tube-Amplifier-Schematic.htm
There are probably better designs out there, but this was a pretty easy build and I have been very happy with it.
This is one that I've been looking at, Its interesting that it has no coupling caps. All of these look good honestly, hard to choose just one.

This is one of those builds that I'm going to make look real nice so I think it would have to sound worse than my other amps to let it go, if it can't give me something the other amps can't then ill end up tweaking it and if still nothing ill end up selling it. By others reviews though I am expecting something special. Honestly if it turns out great I'm going to give it to my dad who has cancer, I told him whatever I build next is his. I think relaxing to some good old tunes will be good for him.
