I see this a lot on Craigslist and e-bay and on here from people with gear more expensive than most of us own. Either these are not first generation wealthy people or the teachers all lied to me about the importance of being able to express myself in writing.

No, that was only true back in the days of Reagonomics and "voodoo economics". These days all the rules are suspended. The government can spend unheard-of-amounts and just save the economy, with no price to be paid. They did promise change, right?

Thirty thousand is hardly pocket change for a mere mortal, but that lot still looks like a real bargain. Grand Utopias alone sell for a lot more than that guy is asking for the lot. I've heard them a few times, powered by Forsell and ML and (not sure any more) gear, and they can sound VERY nice, indeed. 
I don't think they are worth the asking price new, but they sure are up there among the better speakers, and a good deal on a used pair would be a nice thing to get.
Too rich for my budget, though, even at the discounted secondhand price, especially after the cost of shipping half a ton or more of gear halfway around the planet... Will any of the AKers, mostly famed for their ultra-thrifty garage sale "scroes", soon admit to buying these? Hhhmmmm....

Let's keep politics out of this, though you might want to check on which administrations had the most deficit spending and which ones had less - or even ran a surplus, and which ones decided to wage wars without paying for them.

OOOhhhh, I wouldn't have done that, I'd email back mispellign stuf to...make him feal rite at home, and then offer 20. Shoot, he might not count that high so it wouldn't matter...
