Ive always used a good quality 15,000uf 100v snap in like the Panasonic THA but looking at the Mouser and Digikey websites, apparently they are no longer available. Digikey still has some Panasonic THA 80v 15,000uf snap ins for around $12 each. These are very good filter caps. The notes indicate they have some available but they will not be stocked in the future.

The diameter of these caps is probably smaller than the originals. You can either gut the original caps and stuff these inside the old can or buy the correct diameter clamp to hold these caps. Use small crimp on eyelets on the terminals to act as solder lugs.

There are other options if you want to spend more money but in my opinion, any improvement would be negligible.
