Must have added an extra zero by accident. Those SONY components couldn't have been more than 300$ combined - new.

That rack looks interesting though and those speakers just scream "articulated bass" and "crisp detailed high end".

1000 watts? Wow!
I had a 500 watt receiver once. I tried to drive some speakers to about 90 dB with them (88 dB sensitivity speakers) and it almost melted. I was really impressed
