Aaarrrgggghhhh.

I taped a speaker once, just to see what happens. But I had sense enough to use masking tape. This stuff will either leave nasty residue behind or take pieces of cone with it.

You think the duct tape is bad- check this JBL out!! This came into the shop a couple of years ago. The guy used that expanding foam that is made to seal serious home air leaks and apparenty thought.... I have no freakin' idea WHAT he thought. Had to save pics of it or nobody would believe me!! Bill at Millersound was actually able to save the cone and repair it nicely!!
