A rare find...LSi (Lear Siegler, Inc.) Bogen Communications SCU-35 pair

Nothing spectacular. Just a simple, straightforward inline setup of 6 drivers per box. No crossovers or caps. Early to mid 60's, I'm guessing.

When my first band formed in the late 1960s, we bought a PA system consisting of a Bogen 4-channel mixer/amp and Bogen line arrays like those pictured. The poor speakers never had a prayer. They simply were not made to accommodate four teenage boys screaming at the top of their lungs. But I'll never forget them. I cannot imagine any possible use for them today. :dunno:

Could be used as props for a 60's TV show, a movie or the stage.

Not at all. They were really cheap and I thought they were cool. Buy what you like, like what you buy...

Indeed. They'd be fun to play around with. Especially if you could come up with a Bose 901 equalizer (or, any other Bose eq, for that matter) you might be surprised by what a little creative eq could do to them. Just be careful with the volume knob!
