I don't think I mentioned it but I ended up buying this unit.
Last night it developed an extremely loud, spontaneous popping noise in the right channel.
My speakers went POP, the unit went into protect, and I shut it off immediately.
Thankfully the amp wasn't blown, the noise was coming from one channel in the preamp (spontaneous and up to 2vrms regardless of volume so it was terrifyingly loud).
After some quick diagnostics I shotgun replaced Q1-Q4, the J-fets in the pre/tone controls with Toshiba 2sk209's and so far the noise seems to have gone away and the amp is singing again. Hopefully this helps anyone that has this issue with their e202.
