Acoustalinear 1530’s

I have a set of these 15” and I can’t find much info on them, are they white van speakers? The guy had them for a long time he said and they actually sound and look pretty good, I believe they are the white van speakers?

I had found out more since I originally posted this question, and for posterity, was I found they were the house brand for The Sound of Music stores in MN back in the 70's, which eventually changed their name to Best Buy.

I can confirm that. I had a couple of pairs of Acoustalinear speakers in my youth and I did acquire them new from Sound of Music in Minnesota back around 1980. I bought a pair of 8" two ways with my first receiver (a Pioneer SX-3600). Sound of Music had a 12 month trade in program, so I saved up enough to upgrade to 10" 3-ways. They weren't the last word in fidelity, but were at least listenable. I had them for about 8 years before I came across a good deal on some Infinity RS-5000's.
