ACOUSTIC RESEARCH AR-3A,AR-LST TWEETER REPLACEMENT-RT!
The best sounding tweeter replacement I have found for the AR3a is the old 4 ohm hard dome (bamboo) tweeter from the vintage (believe it or not) Sansui SP-95. Tweeter has an aluminum housing that is NOT a total drop in unit as you will have to drill mounting holes to match those on the AR baffle.

I have a pair of 1975 AR-3a’s (ser. 101822, 101829).
I purchased used, for a bargain price, while still under 5-year warranty. I informed seller that neither tweeter was working so he provided receipt so i could drive 25 mi. down to Chicago to have tweeters replaced at original place of purchase. Pacific Stereo replaced at no charge. Easy breezy.
However, the original part # was 200013-1 3\4” (treated paper, hard dome hi-range, 1974-75) while replacement p.n. was
1200011-1 3/4” (black-treated-cloth, soft dome hi-range, 1977-78), typically for AR-10pi, AR-11.
I have been told that it is the go-to replacement part but it would need an inductor to keep within original specs.
Im handy but not well versed in electronics.
Q: what is the inductor they are referring to ?

I did see this on another site maybe called ‘speakerrepair’ (?).

“ The AR-11 used a .10mH coil and a 10MFD cap instead of the 3a's 6MFD cap and no coil, and Ken Kantor has determined that the AB service replacement on a 3a with its original cap would require a .07mH coil. “

What do i need to remove and replace ?.
P.S. I do have a printed copy of Champagne. 2007. Restoring AR-3a’s. Classic Speaker Pages.

Thanks in advance.
