You certainly could do a lot worse as far as a home theater set up. If I still had a place for a separate HT room I'd seriously think about this. It's not a huge steal but it would take some time to compile all of that, and it would be impossible to get that kind of power in one bit HT receiver box.

A lot of people are ditching good HT gear because of a lack of HDMI switching.
