ADS 710 pricing for purchase

Looking at a pair of ADS L710 on local Craig's List. $550 with stands, 1 replaced woofer, 1 replaced tweeter. Seller says OEM, but woofer definitely looks different. Is this a bit on the high side?

Difference between a decade and Brauns of Germany who built early aDs drivers VS US made drivers..Everyone says Brauns are better but if it acts and sounds balanced put the covers back on and don't worry about it..Id be more inclined to fuss over the crossovers and those stupid shrill inducing WIMA films they used and Electrolytic caps , ditch those and you have a very smooth peakless keeper..I do my big domes in copper foils in oil with paper in oil for balancing caps , sublime..
As far as price..It's horrible he is using home made platforms, ADS actually uses metal C shape stands that put drivers at ear level when your sitting..If your really worried about price and mix match Move on is my best advice..If everything correct including stands. price is on the low side

There’s a couple of pairs on FB Marketplace right now in southern Mass. One’s listed for $400 and the other is $415. All original and in decent shape. That’s the route I’d go if I was looking for a pair. I sold a mint pair about a year ago for right around that price but mine we truly in perfect condition.

Im using a set of L810A Brauns studio monitors..30 inches off floor toed in 8 ft apart 8 feet back is the sweet spot..Copper in oil, aluminum in oil and paper in oil cans ..they toss out a huge soundstage with very detailed but fleshy texturing and layers apon layers using class A tube ..With many of these big dome monitor types they are not floor models so room coupling via floors, walls is a big no go , placement is so critical but worth the effort for a dedicated listening room...
