I'm surprised that they have been listed for 21 days. Around here, they would have been gone already.

The value of vintage speakers is pretty low here in Colorado. 2 of the last 3 pair I sold have been to out of state buyers. Sold a pair of Time Windows ($80) to a gentleman from Albuquerque and a pair of Snell Type A's ($250) to a couple from Omaha. Tried to sell a pair of AR 2x's in good shape for a year. Kept lowering the price until I got to $75. At that point, I just decided that I would pass them on to a friend.

The good part is I have picked up some fantastic speakers at bargain prices. The bad part is I have a basement full of speakers and most will have to be parted out to recoup my investment. I am continually amazed at some of the speaker rehabs I have seen on this site when I have busted up and tossed better cabinets because I couldn't sell the speakers locally:(

A pair of Snell Type A was listed for $1000 here in the Bay Area...

I know the guy and he usually has some good stuff. I would say it's a good deal, I've always wanted a pair to take for a spin.
