ADS 910 speakers $900 Spokane

Seems high, especially for a black pair.

I guess it depends on if you live in the area and whether you think another pair will pop up sometime. I actually thought anything less than $1000 for a good working pair of 910s with stands was a good deal, they can always be refinished.

Yes, with larger speakers geography is crucial. I’m sure Spokane is a hotter market than Pittsburgh.

Asking price does seem high but then it's obo. Painted cabs and recapped xo probably offset the value differences. If you were looking for a pair like that, $5-600 would be more comfortable. Those are surely heck of speakers.

I guess I'm missing a point of reference showing the price to be too high on these, can someone please enlighten me? I mean, the 910s are commonly used as studio reference monitors, have tri-amp cabaility, and are widely thought of as the peak of ADS speakers along with the 1590s, 1530s, and (especially) 2030s. The 1230s are not commonly used as reference monitors, and are fairly more common, hell I've even owned a couple pairs of those.
Oh and for MY reference purposes, here you go:

Are you sure there is no affiliation?

Maybe I missed it, but I don't see any mention of market value on that thread.

For valuation (consider yourself enlightened)...

No affiliation, since I live across the country.
But I'll take my lumps being wrong about something, using the link you provided shows sold/ expired prices at considerably less than what I thought. (I even took an average of the last 20 completed listings which comes out to $778, so yeah they aren't worth what I thought.)
Seems strange since they are so widely revered among ADS enthusiasts.

Black is even less valuable than the wood finish, so take another bit off your $778 and call it $700 even.

I've wanted a pair of 1530s all my life.

Something unusual about those LED/xover panels.
EDIT: Now I see the PO did them up. Well OK!

Also imho seller should show them lit up!
I agree price is on the high side.
