Can someone confirm what type of surround the Advent 3 woofers use? I’m about to buy a pair. They look like rubber surrounds, but I’m not completely sure.

Can someone confirm what type of surround the Advent 3 woofers use? I’m about to buy a pair. They look like rubber surrounds, but I’m not completely sure.

It looks like a rubber surround, although I can’t be 100% certain. However, it really seems to be coming unglued. Normally, this type of surround should be able to be re‑glued, right?

My guess is rubber. A few Advent 3 woofers for sale have advertised their foam surrounds were replaced with rubber surrounds.
And yes, they can be re-glued if not damaged in most cases.
